The Oracle Road / Miracle Mile area has a rich and colorful history. Join us as we will kick off thinking about building on the area's past to enhance its identity and help ensure a dynamic future.

Featuring:

Demion Clinco, CEO of the Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation and a member of the Governing Board of Pima Community College.
Demion Clinco will provide an illustrated talk on the history of the Oracle Road / Miracle Mile area. Using historic photos and maps, he will trace the history from the original northern automotive gateway to Tucson to its present status as the Miracle Mile Historic District. The Miracle Mile Historic District was listed in the National Register of Historic Place in 2017. Demion Clinco served as the City of Tucson's consultant for the preparation of the nomination for the Historic District.

Learn more about about the Miracle Mile Historic District as a commercial corridor. This presentation will include information on the tax credits available for resources within the Miracle Mile Historic District as well as the required criteria.
