Women Trans and Femme Workshop at BICAS

This drop-in workshop provides a supportive, all-WTF (Women, Trans, Femme) environment for working on bike projects. Participants can bring their own bike—or use available bikes—and receive guidance from WTF-identifying mechanics while using Community Tools ($8–16/hr, sliding scale) to repair, maintain, or customize rides.
Build skills, earn shop credit through the Work Trade program, and explore resources like the WTF Zine Library. Structured classes are available for further learning with other WTF-identifying participants.
This workshop is a welcoming space to learn, connect, and grow bike skills in a safe and empowering environment.
Whoopsies: An Evening of Stories by Odyssey Storytelling

Neighbors, residents, and community volunteers are invited to take part in the Barrio Blue Moon Community Clean-Up on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Participants will meet at Esquer Park (1415 N. 14th Ave.) before working together to help clean and care for the surrounding neighborhood.
This event is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, build community pride, and share ideas about creating a Community Clean-Up Committee to help guide and organize future clean-up efforts. Whether you’re able to help for the full time or just stop by, all are welcome to join and be part of making the neighborhood shine.

Join BICAS for DIY open crafting hours every Saturday, where creativity and self-expression come alive through salvaged art. Explore a wide selection of art materials and salvaged bike parts, or bring your own ideas to life. Each week features a new DIY art project, but you’re welcome to create whatever inspires you!
Crafternoons are supported by generous donations to the BICAS Art Program, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Families and kids ages 6 and up are welcome to join the fun.

Grab hold of your weekend to learn bike mechanics, have fun, and connect with other youth in a supportive, creative space! Youth Drop-In is a free program for young people ages 9 to 18 to explore bicycle repair, try out special mechanics projects, and build hands-on skills at their own pace.
Participants can earn community service hours or shop credit, which can be used toward bike parts or even one complete bike per year. One-on-one mechanics instruction is free during Youth Drop-In, and youth ages 13 and older may also use their shop credit during Community Tools time for assistance outside regular Drop-In hours.

Friends of Marty Birdman invite residents, families, and community members to enjoy A Day in the Park on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Marty Birdman Center. This free, family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to relax, connect with neighbors, and enjoy time outdoors.
The afternoon will include free food and drinks, a variety of outdoor games, a jumping castle for kids, and a free raffle with chances to win fun prizes. All are welcome to stop by, participate, and celebrate community together in a welcoming and festive setting.
BICAS WTF Group Ride

BICAS - 2001 N 7th Ave.
BICAS WTF Group Rides are reserved for people who identify as Women, Transgender, or Femme, offering a safe, empowering, and inclusive cycling experience. These rides take place on the last Monday of each month (unless there is a holiday closure). Participants meet at 7:00 PM at BICAS, with the ride departing at 7:15 PM.
Rides are supported by mechanics and ride volunteers who assist with basic repairs and traffic crossings. The focus is on community, confidence, and enjoying a comfortable-paced ride through Tucson.

Youth Circus Camp, hosted by The Circus and Aerial Academy of Tucson, Inc., invites youth ages 7–15 to explore the exciting world of circus arts in a fun and supportive environment. This engaging camp offers participants the chance to build confidence, learn new skills, and express their creativity while trying a variety of circus activities.
Youth will experience stilt walking, tightwire, juggling, plate spinning, poi, diabolo, tumbling, and trapeze, with activities designed for both beginning and advanced students. Students should bring their own lunch, snacks, and water, and will need hard-shell knee pads and socks for stilt walking. All are welcome to join this unique and energetic experience!

There’s a monster living under the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall! Mazy the Monster dreams of becoming a star of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Join her on a magical musical adventure filled with storytelling, friendship, and courage.
Designed for toddlers through elementary-age children, Just for Kids programs are interactive ensemble concerts that entertain and engage the whole family. Each performance lasts about 45 minutes, seating is general admission, and tickets are free with a recommended donation of $3 per person.

Residents are invited to join an upcoming community meeting on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM to learn more about the proposed affordable housing development at the corner of Stone Avenue and Speedway Boulevard. This meeting is an opportunity to hear updates, ask questions, and share ideas about the future of the neighborhood.
City staff will be present to provide project information and gather community input in a collaborative and welcoming setting. All residents are encouraged to attend and take part in shaping the future of affordable housing in the area.
