City of Tucson House & Community Development staff are invited to play a critical role in the Choice Neighborhoods Planning & Action Grant. We are working with the ASU School of Social Work to survey as many Tucson House residents as possible for a needs assessment. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with some of the residents we serve on a daily basis!

Logistics

HCD employees will sign up for a 3-hour shift with supervisor approval, between 9am and 3pm. They will receive a brief training from ASU staff when they arrive for their shift, and then conduct one or two surveys (depending on time) with residents either in an office area at Tucson House or in pairs in a resident's apartment. This is paid work time, so employees with supervisor approval can use the opportunity to make up hours, include it in their regular work time, or receive overtime. Residents will receive a $10 gift card for participating. Light refreshments will be provided.
